Artist FAQs

  • For the AWN launch (22 September Live), we ask each artist to provide:

    • One unique work (Exhibition Copy)

    • One limited edition work

More works are of course welcome. However, we may reserve additional works for future drops to sustain collector interest and create anticipation around your practice. Works do not need to be newly created for AWN but they must not be available for purchase elsewhere or currently streamed on another platform.

  • To ensure fairness and clarity for collectors, all artworks listed on
Art Wow Now must match the prices you’ve set on other platforms (such as Sedition).

If you’d like to set different pricing on AWN, the works must first be removed from those platforms. This protects both your market value and collector confidence.

  • We recommend keeping edition sizes intentionally small to preserve value and exclusivity. For limited editions, 7- 50 copies is a strong range that balances accessibility for collectors with long-term market value. Edition numbers will be confirmed with AWN to ensure consistency across the collection and alignment with your career trajectory.

  • Limited Editions

A limited edition is a fixed number of copies of a Moving-Image artwork released by you, the artist. Once sold out, the edition is closed. This preserves the rarity and value of your work.

    • Includes an Artist signed Certificate of Authenticity (physical or digital)

    • Delivered via secure digital download + USB

    • You retain copyright and the right to exhibit the work

    • Collectors may not publicly exhibit or commercially distribute the work

    Unique Editions

A single, exclusive version of your work.

    • Only one copy exists for private ownership

    • You retain copyright and may exhibit the work in institutional or curatorial contexts

    • Public display by the collector requires your written permission

    Open Editions (by negotiation only)

Open editions are non-limited works intended for large-scale display contexts and exhibitions in museums, corporate spaces, hospitality venues and public spaces.

    • Negotiated directly between you, AWN, and the institution/business

    • Terms cover pricing, licensing, and display rights

    • Designed for works that can reach wider audiences without compromising your limited edition practice

  • Moving-Image Art refers to time-based digital works — video, animation, generative visuals, created to be experienced through projection, screens, or other display devices. These works unfold over time and carry emotional, conceptual and aesthetic depth.

  • Each edition is provided:

    • As a secure digital download

    • On a USB drive (shipped to the collector)

    Collectors also receive:

    • A Certificate of Authenticity

    • Optional digital authentication for provenance tracking

    • Details on technical specifications for optimal display

  • It is recommended that Collectors dedicate one screen/ projector or display to their Moving-Image Art Collection. Recommendations can display your work through:

    • Panasonic Matte Frame

    • Recommended digital projectors

    • Art Wow Now Gold Square Frame, Circular Frame or super stretch frame (launching soon — with a waitlist)

    • For large-scale installations, AWN also provides bespoke consultation and technical support worldwide.

  • Collectors may:

    • Display the artwork privately in their home

    • Install the work using recommended display methods

    • Resell the work after 24 months from the date of purchase

    Collectors may not:

    • Exhibit the work publicly (galleries, venues, events)

    • Stream or publish the work online

    • Use the work for any commercial purpose

  • Collectors receive licensed display-only versions, backed by a Certificate of Authenticity and optional blockchain-based provenance tracking. While no digital medium is 100% duplication-proof, AWN’s protocols — including controlled edition sizes, digital rights management, and collector sales agreements, ensure your work cannot be legitimately displayed, sold, or circulated outside of the terms you set.
